Part-Time Remote Opportunity – IT Systems Support Specialist

We are looking for an IT Systems Support Specialist to provide ongoing support for the internal IT operations of a SaaS client. This is a part-time, fully remote contractor role, ideal for professionals seeking a flexible and stable side engagement.

Time Commitment

• 10–20 hours in February
• 10–20 hours in June
• 10–20 hours per month from September to December

This role is well suited for candidates who already have another full-time position.

Position Details

• Engagement: Contractor
• Location: 100% Remote
• Schedule: Flexible, deliverables-focused, with some overlap with US business hours

Qualifications & Requirements 

• 3+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar technical role. 
• Hands-on experience with:***
  • Device imaging / re-imaging and workstation setup. ***
  • Endpoint security tools (ideally CrowdStrike or similar). ***
  • Identity management or device management platforms (ideally JumpCloud, Azure AD, Intune, Okta, etc.). ***
• Familiarity with SOC 2 Type 2 or similar security/compliance frameworks (does not need to be an expert, but must understand the basics and why certain controls matter). ***
• Comfortable working independently, managing their own tasks, and communicating clearly when something is blocked. 
• Good English communication skills (the work itself is mostly internal IT support, not heavy customer-facing work). 

Nice-to-Have 

• Prior experience in a SaaS or B2B software company. 
• Experience working in a small IT team or as the main IT point of contact. 
• Previous exposure to compliance audits or security assessments. 

Key Responsibilities

• Laptop provisioning and re-imaging
• Management of endpoint and security tools such as CrowdStrike and JumpCloud
• Support for SOC 2 Type II activities, including asset inventories, system configurations, and evidence collection
• General system hygiene and basic internal IT support
