Senior Data Scientist (RWD/RWE) – Healthcare Analytics

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with strong experience in Real-World Data (RWD) and Real-World Evidence (RWE) to join a high-impact analytics team in the healthcare/pharma space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end analytics using large healthcare datasets (claims data such as Optum, MarketScan, Medicare, Medicaid)
• Design and execute observational studies (cohorts, outcomes, longitudinal analysis)
• Apply statistical and machine learning methods (regression, survival analysis, predictive modeling)
• Build and manage large-scale data pipelines and analysis-ready datasets
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Medical, Commercial, Clinical) to support decision-making
• Communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Data Science, preferably in healthcare or pharma
• Hands-on experience with claims datasets (Optum or similar) (required)
• Strong statistical background (regression, survival analysis, longitudinal modeling)
• Experience with Python and/or R
• Experience working with large datasets (Spark, SQL or similar)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience in HEOR, Medical Affairs, or Market Access
• Knowledge of causal inference methods
• Experience in oncology or other therapeutic areas
• Publications or research experience in RWE
