Senior Network Engineer – Cisco SD-WAN & Enterprise Infrastructure

Remote | Direct Hire (Cisco Partner) | English Required

Colombia based location

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco technologies and enterprise network environments to support high-impact client projects.

You will be hired directly by a Cisco Partner, working on complex implementations and enterprise-level network solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and troubleshoot advanced routing and switching environments (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• Work with Cisco SD-WAN, DNA/Catalyst Center, and Wireless LAN Controllers (9800/5500)
• Support and optimize complex enterprise and datacenter networks (including VXLAN and large-scale switching)
• Configure and manage firewall solutions (Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower, Fortinet)
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to clients in complex environments
• Document solutions and architectures after project completion
• Support ongoing operations and participate in on-call rotations

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), and enterprise networks
• Experience with Cisco DNA Center / Catalyst Center
• Experience with Cisco Wireless (9800 / 5500)
• Experience with firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco)
• Strong troubleshooting skills in complex environments
• Advanced English communication skills

Nice to Have:

• CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure or CCNP Enterprise
• Experience with Meraki environments and integrations
• Exposure to VMware
• Experience providing architecture guidance to clients
• Experience with Cisco Wireless (9800 / 5500)
• Experience with firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco)
• Strong troubleshooting skills in complex environments
• Advanced English communication skills
