Senior Full Stack Software Engineer | Remote | Contractor | English Required

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join an innovative healthcare technology company focused on modernizing mission-critical production systems and operational workflows.

This role combines production support, legacy system modernization, and AI-driven software engineering practices.

What you’ll do:

• Support live production systems and operational workflows
• Troubleshoot critical issues impacting users and field operations
• Maintain and modernize Angular/AngularJS, PHP, and Node.js applications
• Migrate legacy systems into a modern TypeScript/React ecosystem
• Build scalable APIs and modern frontend interfaces
• Work with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure
• Leverage AI development tools such as Cursor and Claude to accelerate engineering workflows
• Participate in on-call production support rotations

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer
• Experience supporting production environments and business-critical systems
• Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, React, and Angular
• Experience with Node.js APIs and REST services
• Strong SQL and MongoDB experience
• Experience with Docker and Git
• Strong troubleshooting and operational support mindset
• Advanced English communication skills

Nice to have:

• AWS infrastructure experience
• Healthcare tech / HIPAA experience
• DICOM, HL7, PACS, Orthanc, or Mirth Connect experience
• Experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude, or Copilot
