Backend Software Engineer

The ACS Integrations Platform team leads our partner’s vision for managing Access Control Systems (ACS), building seamless integrations with major vendors and creating core product features. As a part of this team, you’ll tackle challenges in scaling, performance, and optimization, while enhancing developer experience with an evolving integration SDK.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Launch new services that enhance the safety, reliability, and accuracy of ACS.
• Analyze and improve current ACS management methods to drive innovation.
• Collaborate closely with team members to brainstorm and deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Develop MVPs with robust technical foundations, iterating based on product feedback.
  
  

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience or coding experience**
• BS / MS in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Created and supported APIs (REST, JSON/HTTP, GraphQL)**
• 5+ years Typescript in writing, maintaining, and debugging code in a production environment.** (Kotlin development experience is a plus if they are interested to learn)
• Experience designing and understanding large scale systems (>1M people)
• Strong technical foundations for patterns and anti-patterns in software engineering**
• Server-side development (not web based)**
• Atlassian products – Jira and Confluence
