Full-Stack TypeScript Developer – Next.js, React Native & Expo
Remote | Part-Time | 1-Year Contractor Engagement | English Required
We are looking for a proactive Full-Stack TypeScript Developer to deliver and maintain production features across web and mobile applications. You will work independently from detailed tickets in an async-first environment and collaborate directly with the Technical Lead.
Responsibilities
- Develop production features for web and mobile applications.
- Maintain and improve an existing TypeScript codebase.
- Build with Next.js, React Native, and Expo.
- Develop APIs, integrations, and relational data models.
- Troubleshoot bugs and production issues across the stack.
- Create responsive, polished user interfaces.
- Complete clearly documented tickets managed through Linear.
- Submit clean, documented GitHub pull requests.
- Address code-review feedback and prepare work for production.
- Communicate progress, questions, and blockers proactively through Slack.
- Participate in a short weekly alignment call.
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly and validate all generated code.
Requirements
- Approximately 3–5 years of professional experience delivering production TypeScript and React applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Next.js.
- Experience with the App Router and React Server Components.
- Production experience with React Native and Expo.
- Full-stack experience with APIs, integrations, relational data modeling, and database operations.
- Experience with Prisma and PostgreSQL.
- Ability to build responsive and polished user interfaces.
- Experience with GitHub pull requests and code reviews.
- Professional experience with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI coding tools.
- Strong written English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- Proactive approach to communicating questions, assumptions, and blockers.

TypeScript, Next.js, App Router, React Server Components, React Native, Expo, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, oRPC, Prisma, PostgreSQL, pnpm, Turborepo, Vercel, GitHub, Linear, Slack, and Claude Code.
Nice to Have
- Expo EAS builds and mobile app-store release experience.
- Familiarity with Better Auth.
- Experience with Trigger.dev or similar background-job tools.
- Experience with membership, event, booking, or payment platforms.
- Interest in golf or community-based sports platforms.
