Machine Learning Engineer (AI Innovation – Biopharma)

We are hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to support AI-driven innovation within a leading biopharmaceutical organization focused on oncology, inflammation, and autoimmunity research.

This role requires strong end-to-end ML ownership, business alignment, and cloud expertise, working across diverse data science initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Lead ML/DS projects from business understanding to model delivery
• Design solutions aligned with business impact, not only model performance
• Build end-to-end ML pipelines using Python and modern ML libraries
• Work with text and image datasets across multiple problem domains
• Deploy and operate ML workloads in AWS
• Apply testing, reproducibility, and coding best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support continuous improvement
• Contribute to ML infrastructure and deployment pipelines

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in ML development
• Strong experience with Python and ML libraries (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, PyTorch)
• Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning
• Cloud experience (AWS required)
• Experience deploying models in production
• Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
• Ability to align technical execution with business goals
• Experience in collaborative software development environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker
• Experience with MLOps tools such as Airflow, MLflow, or Kubernetes
